Splits breps or meshes into groups of faces for texturing. Faces will be grouped by their normal vector. In case of meshes, texture coordinates will be defined as well.

Inputs

NameIDDescriptionType
GeometryGBreps or meshes which should be split for texturingGeometry
PlanePPlane to use for grouping facesPlane
dxdxPortion of the plane's x axis that is mapped to texture coordinates [0,1]Interval
dydyPortion of the plane's y axis that is mapped to texture coordinates [0,1]Interval
AngleTolAAngle tolerance in degrees for unwelding and splitting meshes, 0 to deactivate thisNumber
MeshYNMShould all breps be meshed for output?Boolean

Outputs

NameIDDescriptionType
TopZ+Planar faces whose normal vector points in the plane's Z coordinate directionGeometry
BottomZ-Planar faces whose normal vector points reverse to the plane's Z coordinate directionGeometry
BackY+Planar faces whose normal vector points in the plane's Y coordinate directionGeometry
FrontY-Planar faces whose normal vector points reverse to the plane's Y coordinate directionGeometry
RightX+Planar faces whose normal vector points in the plane's X coordinate directionGeometry
LeftX-Planar faces whose normal vector points reverse to the plane's X coordinate directionGeometry
PlanarPRemaining planar facesGeometry
UnplanarURemaining unplanar facesGeometry
